2 Arrested for Meth, LIVINGSTON, February 25, 2021 - On February 24, 2021, detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division were patrolling on FM-3126 near the Polunsky TDC prison unit. The detectives observed a male, later identified as Christopher Lee Bishop, 34, of Livingston, and a female, later identified as Rebecca Ann Messer, 38, of Livingston, standing near a bicycle in the ditch and stuffing a small bag into a cigarette pack. A stop was conducted near the Subdivision of Texas Landing. Both Messer and Bishop gave consent to the search of their person. Both were they were found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine.
