Sheriff Hammack Reports Arrests Made for Stolen 4 Wheeler, LIVINGSTON, February 12, 2016 - On February 11, 2016, at around 12:30 a.m. the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen reporting a suspicious vehicle in the Holiday Lakes Estates Subdivision.
Sgt. David Ramsey with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the area and located a male subject pushing a four-wheeler in the roadway. The four-wheeler had just been stolen from a residence in the Subdivision. The subject was identified as Arden Johnson, 29 year old from Shepherd, TX. The vehicle, a Gray 2003 Chevrolet Pickup registered to Johnson, was also located in the area and occupied by a female subject identified as Sammantha Wood, 31 year old from Cleveland, TX.
The license plate was obstructed on the truck as to avoid identification by cameras. The four-wheeler was returned to the owners and both subjects were arrested for unauthorized use of vehicle and transported to the Polk County Jail.
