Multiple Arrestes Made in Narcotics Case, INDIAN SPRINGS, February 8, 2024 - On February 7, 2024, Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives were conducting traffic enforcement in the Indian Springs Subdivision of Polk County, where they encountered a male subject on a four-wheeler. After the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the subject fled from the officer on the four-wheeler. The four-wheeler was later found at a nearby residence, where detectives received information in regards to the identity of the occupants. The occupants, who were not there, were quickly identified as Cody Lamar White and Kaylee Collier, both of Indian Springs.
Cody White was known by the Sheriff’s Office to have an active Felony Possession of Methamphetamine warrant. Additional units from the Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Criminal Investigation Division soon joined in the search and subsequently located both Cody White and Kaylee Collier, hiding inside a travel trailer, also located in the area of Indian Springs.
As a result of this investigation, a search warrant was obtained and the following arrests were made:
CODY LAMAR WHITE, 28 – Livingston, TX EVADING ARREST OR DETENTION WITH A VEHICLE UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF FIREARM UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF BODY ARMOR BY FELON POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE) (1) OUTSTANDING WARRANT FOR POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE (SERVED) No photo at this time
BRIAN KEITH LAFFERTY, 55 – Livingston, TX (3) OUTSTANDING WARRANTS (SERVED) No photo at this time
JONATHAN TYLER ZUELLIG, 27 Livingston, TX: DISPLAY EXPIRED PLATES, NO DRIVERS LICENSE, NO INSURANCE, UNSECURED CHILD (LESS THAN 1-YEAR OLD CHILD NOT IN A CARSEAT)
KAYLEE LAVON COLLIER, 23 Livingston, TX, HINDERING APPREHENSION OF A KNOWN FELON AND POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (METHAMPHETAMINE)
