Livingston Man Charged with Sexual Assault of a Child, LIVINGSTON, February 8, 2023 - On Sunday, November 13, 2022, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received information in reference to an incident involving the sexual assault of a child.
Detectives immediately initiated an investigation and identified the suspect as 51 year old, Jerry Lee Whittenburg, of Livingston. During the investigation, Detectives subsequently obtained sufficient probable cause for an arrest warrant to be issued on Whittenburg, for Felony 2 Sexual Assault of a Child.
On February 2, 2023, Whittenburg turned himself in to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, where he was booked into the Polk County Jail, on a $50,000.00 bond.
