3 Arrested on Narcotics Charges, INDIAN SPRINGS, January 31, 2024 - On January 30, 2024, Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detectives, were conducting traffic enforcement in the Indian Springs Subdivision of Polk County, due to numerous complaints from citizens/residents. A traffic stop was initiated on a passenger vehicle for an equipment violation and subsequent to the stop, Narcotics Detectives located methamphetamine and items consistent with the sale of methamphetamine, in the driver’s possession. Two other occupants in the vehicle were also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, consistent with user quantities. All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Polk County Jail, where they were booked without incident, on the below charges.
