Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division Arrests Spike in December and January, LIVINGSTON, January 28, 2016 - The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling areas of Polk County as well as pursuing tips received by the Sheriff’s Office from the public and assisting CPS Livingston and have made the following arrests, according to Sheriff Kenneth Hammack.
On 12-15-2015 a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle on Fm 3126 and Fm 2457 and during the stop methamphetamine was located in the vehicle and on one of the suspects. The below listed were arrested:
John Arredondo who had just been placed on probation for methamphetamine possession was arrested for possession of methamphetamine again.
Ryan Schafter was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
On 12-17-2015 an arrest warrant was served on Fm 2969 and the below listed suspects were arrested on warrants as well as possession of cocaine:
Tony Brooks had a parole warrant, theft warrant out of Liberty County and possession of a controlled substance
Ashley Lawrence had an assault warrant and possession of a controlled substance
On 12-29-2015 CPS advised the Sheriff’s Office of a two year old male child who tested positive for methamphetamine. An investigation was conducted and the below were arrested:
Jennifer Renee Smith mother of the child
Jerry Wayne Riley father of the child were arrested for child endangerment.
On 12-29-2015 CPS advised the Sheriff’s Office of a one year old female child and a 2 year old male child both tested positive for methamphetamine. An investigation was conducted and the below were arrested:
Ricky Wayne Freeman Jr. was arrested for two counts of child endangerment
Norma Garciella Felipe was arrested for two counts of child endangerment.
On 12-30-2015 Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Detectives visited a residence in the Canyon Park Subdivision to investigate tips on the distribution of marijuana and methamphetamine from the residence as well as on the suspect’s business routes. During the investigation a four year old male child was also located in the residence where the three adults were openly smoking marijuana in the same room as the child. A drug test on the child showed the child was positive for methamphetamine. The below listed suspects were charged.
Tera Elizabeth Walker charged with hindering apprehension and a warrant will be issued for child endangerment.
John Lance Beard arrested on two traffic warrants, warrant issued for possession of a controlled substance and he has been arrested on the warrant and bonded out. Warrant will be issued for child endangerment.
Brian Keith Blair warrant issued for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance methamphetamine, suspect currently hiding and running from law enforcement.
Terry Eugene Goff will have warrants issued for his arrest for hindering apprehension and child endangerment.
On 1-6-2016 a traffic stop was conducted on the Scenic Loop during patrols of the area.
Kevin Barnes was arrested for traffic violations, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
Alan Banks was charged with drug paraphernalia
On 1-7-2016 a warrant service was conducted in the Wiggins II Subdivision where the suspect was located and a search warrant for the residence was obtained. During the search of the residence methamphetamine and a weapon was located in the residence. An investigation into the weapon is on going with charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by felon pending.
Valerie Moon was arrested for a probation warrant for possession of methamphetamine and a new charge of possession of methamphetamine
Melanie Nunez was arrested for a warrant parent contributing to non-attendance and a new charge of possession of methamphetamine
George Bullock was arrested on two traffic warrants
On 1-11-2016 a traffic stop was conducted in the Taco Bell parking lot in reference to suspicious activity, during the stop the driver was found to be wanted for traffic violations and a search of the vehicle turned up used syringes, spoons, and controlled substance suspected to be Dilaudid.
Nathanael Robert Skiles was arrested for traffic warrants and new charge of possession of a controlled substance
John Henry Franklin Jr was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On 1-11-2016 a traffic stop was conducted on US Hwy 190 West where a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. The male subject had a 3 month old child in the vehicle with him during the arrest and CPS was notified. Further investigation turned up a large quantity of methamphetamine which had been brought into Polk County area for distribution purposes. The child was sent for a drug test and charges are pending the results of the drug test.
Charles Joseph Schreiber was arrested for possession of a controlled substance
On 1-13-2016 Sheriff’s Office Narcotics responded to the end of White Oak Cove in the Yaupon Cove Subdivision in reference to several complaints about the high traffic. Sheriff’s Office has been to the residence before where five suspects had been arrested for possession of methamphetamine and manufacture/delivery of methamphetamine, for a large quantity located at the residence. During this investigation five more suspects were arrested from charges stemming from environmental to possession of methamphetamine and manufacture/delivery of methamphetamine.
Donna Sue Rogers was arrested for illegal burning of substances and charges pending for possession of a controlled substance
Clinten Zane Loving was arrested for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, Clinten was one of the first five suspects taken to jail on a manufacture/delivery charge and was granted a bond reduction and has been out of jail for only seven days on bond.
Travis Loving was arrested for possession of a controlled substance
Kimberly Cooper was arrested for traffic warrants and for possession of a controlled substance, Kimberly Cooper was also arrested from the first arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia
David Clough was arrested for illegal burning and for possession of a controlled substance
Ongoing investigations continue into the distribution of methamphetamine in the Polk County area with several arrests pending against suspects living in the Polk County area.
