Methamphetamine, Stolen Vehicle, Multiple Arrests, LIVINGSTON, July 2, 2025 - On July 1, 2025, detectives with the Polk County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, assisted by deputies from the Patrol Division, served a felony arrest warrant in the Southland Plantation area of Polk County on 64 year old Lou Ann Hudson, of Livingston, who had two active felony warrants related to the possession and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
While taking Hudson into custody at her mobile home, which was occupied by five additional individuals across two bedrooms, detectives observed a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine in plain view inside her bedroom. Based on this observation, detectives prepared a probable cause search warrant, which was reviewed and signed by Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Judge Sarah Rasberry.
During execution of the search warrant, detectives located a quantity of methamphetamine in Hudson’s bedroom exceeding four grams but less than 200 grams, consistent with a first-degree felony offense under Health & Safety Code (Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1).
In an adjacent bedroom, detectives located a baggie containing less than one gram of methamphetamine. The room was occupied by Sherry Saunders, Ginger Richards, and James Robert Pipkin, all of whom denied ownership of the narcotics. Each was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (felony).
Additionally, detectives conducted a VIN check on a Dodge Ram pickup truck located on the property, which had no wheels, no tires, and no engine. The vehicle was confirmed stolen out of San Jacinto County. Suspect information was collected and forwarded to San Jacinto County authorities for further investigation.
