3 Polk County Jailers Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting an Inmate, LIVINGSTON, February 20, 2025 - Polk County Sheriff, Byron Lyons, requested an investigation from the Texas Rangers in reference to an alleged assault of an inmate that occurred by three Polk County Jailers on February 4. All three jailers have been arrested and booked into Polk County Jail and charged with aggravated assault by a public servant (felony). The jailers have been identified as Ty Paredes, 27, of Shepherd, Christopher Damian, 29, of Livingston, Agapito Correa, 31, of Conroe.
