Narcotics Detectives and DPS Team Capture Wanted Felon, BIG THICKET, January 29, 2025 - On January 29, 2025, the Polk County Narcotics Division, in collaboration with the Department of Public Safety, successfully apprehended a wanted felon, Theo Bellany, in the Big Thicket area of Polk County. Bellany was sought on a parole violation related to previous narcotics offenses.
Narcotics detectives were able to locate Bellany at his residence without incident, and he was taken into custody. A search incident to the arrest revealed that Bellany was in possession of methamphetamine. As a result, an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1/1-B, greater than 1 gram - but less than 4 grams, was filed against him.
