Sheriff Hammack Awards His Staff, LIVINGSTON, May 2, 2011 - On the afternoon of April 29, 2011, Polk County Sheriff, Ken Hammack, took time to recognize his staff for a job well done in an annual award presentation for his best of the best. Dispatcher of the year went to Kandyce Jones. Deputy of the year went to Craig Taylor. Supervisor of the year went to Christian Schanmier, and Detective of the year went to Richard Delaney. The award recepients are chosen by their fellow co-workers in a confidential vote. After the award presentations, Hammack's staff also showed appreciation for their boss and presented him with a picture that depicts Sheriff Hammack sitting on a horse in an old west town setting. Hammack seemed very proud of the appreciative gift from his staff.
