Pickup Truck Rollover Accident on Millgate Road, LIVINGSTON, January 31, 2008 - Shortly before 10 pm on January 31, 2008 a rollover single vehicle accident was reported on Millgate Road, just off of Highway 146 about 6 miles out of Livingston. The driver of the white 2004 Ford F-250 diesel pickup was John Curly, 62, of McKinney, Texas. The truck was almost completely flipped over and wedged down between a small bridge and deep mud. An ambulance from Americare Ambulance was on the scene, 1 Polk County Sheriff's Deputy, and DPS Trooper Robert Acres. Polk County Today asked John Curly what happened and he stated that he wasn't sure, but that he was driving down millgate and all of the sudden it got crazy. Curly had his seatbelt fastened and managed to crawl from the vehicle with only a bleeding nose. Curly did have insurance. A wrecker from Polock's Body Shop showed up on the scene to pull the truck out of the mud. Curly was issued a citation for driving at an unsafe speed.
