Dollar General Store Robbed, LIVINGSTON, February 4, 2010 - At approximately 7 pm on February 4, 2010, the Dollar General store located at 1207 North Washington in Livingston was allegedly robbed. According to store personnel, the robber was a middle aged black female wearing dark pants and a gray hoodie. The victims told the Polk County Sheriff's Office that the female robber partially displayed a pistol (they could see the handle of the gun), and kept the rest of the gun concealed under her clothing, pointed at a store manager. The robber then fled the scene and disappeared in the vicinity across the street near a small establishment called the Royal Inn. Policemen from Livingston Police Department, the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Constables and DPS Troopers immediately combed the area diligently searching for the suspect. At time of press, the suspect has not been located, and it has not been revealed to PolkCountyToday.com how much money the robber got away with.
