Crime Stopper Tips Lead to Arrest for Aggravated Robbery, LIVINGSTON, January 23, 2016 - An alleged aggravated robbery that took place yesterday (01/22/16) was posted on this website (complete with a YouTube Video). Tips poured in to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The tips led to the location and arrest of 24 year old Jeffrey Daniel Prager, of Waco. The following is a press release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office:
On 01-22-2015, Detectives with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office received information from the public on a possible suspect. Detectives were able to track down and locate the suspect’s residence located off of Old Groveton Road. Detectives with the help of patrol were able to locate and detain the suspect at approximately 1900 hours. Detectives brought the suspect in for questioning.
After a review of the evidence and a thorough interview with the suspect, Jeffrey Daniel Prager, confessed to committing the aggravated robbery in the Yaupon Cove Subdivision.
Sheriff Kenneth Hammack would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying a suspect which subsequently led to the arrest of the individual responsible.
