Polk County Relay Approaching $200,000 Raised for 2015, LIVINGSTON, April 25, 2015 - The Polk County Relay for Life cancer fund raising effort reached (at last count last night) $191,000. Last night (April 24) marked the annual celebration/fundraiser that always sees robust participation in Polk County, Texas. The annual celebration was held at Pedigo Park and this year's theme was "Relay Around the World". Booths from local businesses, churches, and local government entities all put forth a huge effort to create an international flavor and feeling throughout Pedigo Park. By no means does the annual celebration mark the end of the annual drive. You can still donate by clicking on the Polk County Relay Website and help inch the amount for this year closer to $200,000.
