Onalaska Man Arrested on Drug Charges, LIVINGSTON, June 9, 2008 - According to Lieutenant Andy Lowrie of the Polk County Sheriff's Department, a man by the name of Shannon Blake of Onalaska was arrested on Monday, June 9, 2008 at approximately 12:30 in the afternoon. Lowrie and Deputy Randy Turner were responding to a complaint from neighbors of Lake Livingston Village 4 & 5 subdivision about the smell of a meth lab coming from a nearby house. When Lowrie and Turner pulled up in the driveway of said house, they encountered Blake who was standing in the front of the house. Lowrie noticed that Blake was acting nervous and summoned him. In Blake's possession they found several baggies with a substantial amount of methamphetamine. Blake was arrested for possession with intent to deliver and booked into Polk County Jail. The offense occurred in a drug free zone.
