Report of Reckless Driver Lands Ace Man in Jail, LIVINGSTON, December 4, 2009 - At approximately 7:20 pm on December 3, 2009, a report of a reckless driver, possibly intoxicated in the Livingston area led Livingston Police Officers Jason Thomas and Ashley Brame to the Valero Gas Station on US-146 in Livingston. When officers arrived the saw the vehicle that matched the description of the reported reckless driver. The alleged driver Shane Mark Alexander, 40, of Ace had gone into the Valero store. Officer Jason Thomas met Alexander in the store. After some questioning, Alexander was placed under arrest for public intoxication and booked into Polk County Jail. Alexander's passenger who remained in the vehicle was also allegedly drunk. A friend was sent for to drive the vehicle home.
