Onalaska Police Bust Two Vehicle Burglars, ONALASKA, February 26, 2009 - On February 6, 2009, the Onalaska Police Department began an investigation into a string of Burglary of Vehicle incidents that occurred over a two day period beginning on February 5th. Corporal John Maddox and Officer Brian Perkins of the Onalaska Police Department were both working cases on the incidents. Over a week later, both officers worked leads that were all dead ends. On February 18, 2009 while doing a follow up investigation on what seemed to be an unrelated case, details were brought to light that led officers to possible suspects. After interviewing new suspects, there were formal charges made on David Clough and Gregory LeQueux. Clough was already in jail for unrelated charges and LeQueux was placed into Polk County Jail. A total of 3 cases were cleared with the arrest.
A special thank you to Sergeant Lee Parrish and Onalaska Police Chief Ron Gilbert
David Wayne Clough, 34, of Onalaska
Gregory Jon Lequeux, 18, of Onalaska
