McClendon Takes Crown in Miss Greater Livingston Pageant, LIVINGSTON, April 19, 2008 - Victoria McClendon took the top spot in the 2008 Greater Miss Livingston Pageant held at the Livingston High School Auditorium on April 19th, 2008 2nd runner up was Lindsey Maxwell and 1st runner up was Amanda Drager. Other crown winners were Hanah Murphy in the Little Miss competition. In the Junior Miss competition Riley Dunston took top spot. Miss Pre-Teen winner was Kimberly Shippey. Miss Teen crown winner was Lacey Booth who also performed an impromptu accapelo performance of Patsy Cline's hit "Crazy". All the contestants were beautiful, cute, and a joy to watch as they delighted the audience with their presence on stage. Other winners were Amanda Drager, Miss Photogenic, and Taylor Babbs won Miss Congeniality. After her coronation, Victoria McClendon was still humble. She said that she didn't think that she was going to win. When asked what advice she would offer to other girls that don't think they can win, she told Polk County Today"You've got to believe in yourself, that's the most important thing"-- Victoria McClendon. Janet Wiggins and Keith Stapleton presided over the event with Stapleton performing as master of ceremonies for the evening.
