A show opening fit for a king: Elvis (Gerald Morris, Jr.) came out singin.

Brooke Haynes Crowned Miss Polk County 2011, LIVINGSTON, January 30, 2011 - Audience favorite Brooke Haynes cruised to victory in the 2011 Miss Polk County Pageant held in the Livingston High School Auditorium on Saturday, January 29, 2011.  When Haynes was announced as winner the capacity crowd roared with approval.  At the conclusion of the pageant, Haynes was surrounded by friends and family some carrying home made signs reading Brooke-Tastic! some wore shirts reading Viva Las Brooke! (the pageant theme was Viva Las Vegas).  Haynes was contestant number 9 out of 13 worthy candidates.  Haynes demonstrated exceptional talent during the talent portion of the pageant when she played a flawless rendition of a complex piano piece.  First Runner Up was Kaysie Moore and Second Runner Up was Ashley Gates (both of Livingston).  Benny Fogleman served as master of ceremonies and was assisted by Miss Polk County 2010, Mandy Drager.  There was also an appearance by Gerald Morris, Jr. who portrayed a 70s Elvis who sung a number and fielded a few questions from Pageant Host, Benny Fogleman.

9.  Brook Haynes (Miss Polk County, Evening gown winner, Congeniality winner, Top 5)
10. Sage Taylor (Top 5)
11. Ashley Gates (Second runner up, Top 5)

13. Chelsea Otwell (Photogenic winner)

The evening belonged to Brook Haynes who seemed to be the audience favorite.
Benny Fogleman served as master of ceremonies and was assisted by 2010 winner Mandy Drager.
Benny Fogleman sang to the audience while the judges scored.
Taylor Babbs leaps high for her talent performance to the song of "New" by Brad Paisley and Sarah Evans.
Aubri Alexander won best talent when she sung a medley from the Sound of Music.
Lindsey Maxwell performed a skit entitled "I Kissed a Boy".
"Move if You Wanna": Hannah Lockwood dances for her talent performance.
Kaysie Moore taps to "Sold" by Michael McAdams.
Samantha Ferguson sung and danced to "Diamonds" (are a girls best friend).
Tangelia Templeton showed how to work a flag while jammin to the 1984 hit "Footloose".
Jordan Polk recited a poem about her aunt, the late Julie Tanner.
Talent indeed: Brooke Haynes played a difficult piece by Bach and nailed it perfectly.
Sage Taylor danced to a hip hop version of "I've Got Rythym".
Ashley Gates signed to the song "Proud to be an American" by Lee Greenwood.
April Watson dances to "Hope Now".
Chelsea Otwell sung a beautiful rendition of "Blue" by Leann Rimes.
