Clarke Evans Squeaks Out Victory Over Watson to be Elected as Next Mayor of Livingston, School Bond Election Passes With Room to Spare, LIVINGSTON, May 10, 2008 - Clark Evans won election as the next mayor of Livingston by a mere 12 votes.  While the School Bond proposal cruised to an easy win 1,150 votes for to 791 against.  In the race to two city council seats, Billy Sol Wiggins and Ray Hill emerged ahead of the pack to be elected to Livingston City Council.

Mayor:  Watson 423 - Evans 435

City Council: Wiggins 472, Hill 339, Simpson 316, Davis 272

Bond Election:  For 1,150 - Against 791
