Late Night Accident Sends Livingston Man to Hospital, LIVINGSTON, February 24, 2008 - An accident that occurred shortly after 3 am sent a Livingston man to the hospital. Billy Wayne Mann, 24, of Livingston was east bound on 190 when he allegedly lost control of his red 1994 Mazada MX3. The vehicle rolled off the highway to the right and down the steep emankment slammed headon into a tree. The car was literally wrapped around the tree. An Americare abmulance arrived at the scene and transported Mann to Livingston Memorial Hospital. Livingston volunteer fire department heavy rescue unit was at the scene as well as 2 Polk County Sheriff's Deputies. DPS Trooper Brent Murray arrived to conduct and investigation. There was a rollback wrecker from Lakeview Wrecker Service to haul away Mann's vehicle. The exact cause and reason Mann went off the road is under investigation and toxicology reports are pending.
