LISD Employee Facing Child Pornography Charges, LIVINGSTON, June 2, 2020 - On May 28th, 2020, the Livingston Police Department was notified by Livingston ISD Officials of an employee identified as Brian Edward Spivey, 61, of Livingston who conducted inappropriate on-line searches on a Livingston ISD school computer. During the investigation Officers learned Brian Spivey logged into on-line chat rooms where he sent several messages which contained inappropriate content. As the investigation continued Officers collected Spivey’s personal home computer along with his assigned computer from Livingston ISD. Both computers were then transported to Montgomery County Human Trafficking / ICAC Division for a forensic examination. During the examination of Brian Spivey’s home computer Investigators identified Child Pornography. On June 1st, 2020 Brian Edward Spivey was arrested at his residence without incident.
Brian Edward Spivey was charged with Possession Or Promotion of Child Pornography (Felony 3) and is currently being held at the Polk County Jail on a $250,000.00 dollar bond.
