Woman Pleads Guilty to Burglary and More, Gets 40 Years, LIVINGSTON, July 6, 2015 - Angela Faust Ahart pled guilty today on two cases of burglary of a habitation and one case of endangering a child. She and her husband, David Ahart, were suspected in a rash of home and automobile burglaries in 2013 and 2014. They were arrested on January 2, 2015 and were charged with multiple cases. She was sentenced to forty (40) years incarceration on the burglaries and one hundred and eighty days on the endangering a child. Cases against David Ahart are still pending and are set for trial August 31, 2015.
Couple Facing Multiple Felony Charges for Alleged Evil Deeds, LIVINGSTON, January 6, 2015 - The Livingston Police Department has been investigating several residential burglaries which occurred over the past several weeks. Detectives and officers during the investigation were able to identify at least 2 suspects in connection with the burglaries. On January 2nd, 2015 Detectives with the Police Department prepared a probable cause affidavit requesting a warrant for the arrest of Angela Faust Ahart, 32 of Livingston, for Burglary of a Habitation a second degree felony. With warrant in hand Officers with the Livingston Police Department proceeded to a private residence located in the 1000 block of South Houston Street of Livingston. Once there officers executed the warrant on Angela Ahart. While in the process of executing the warrant officers observed marijuana and paraphernalia around a small child in the residence.

Also identified in the residence was David Kyle Ahart ,29 of Livingston (Angela Ahart's husband). Officers continued the investigation into the burglaries and narcotics by conducting a search of the residence. During the search officers located a handgun which had also been reported stolen from one of the residential burglaries. Additional evidence was located in the residence and is being processed. Angela Ahart has been charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Possession of Marijuana, Endangerment to a Child and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. David Ahart was charged at the scene with Endangerment of a Child, Possession of Marijuana, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and a warrant for Parole Violation. The investigation into the burglaries is continuing with additional charges and arrests expected. The child was released to the custody of CPS who later released him to family members.
