Students Chop Wood for a Great Cause, LIVINGSTON, February 18, 2011 - Students gathered in December to chop wood for a brisket fundraiser for Chilrenz Haven. The students were joined by LISD Criminal Justice Teacher Chuck Cotton (left) and Nicole Foster with Childenz Haven (right). The chopped wood was used to cook the brisket that sold and raised over $4,000.
The students that participated were: Nathaniel Knate, Amanda Stansberry, Christopher Benfer, Heather Duncan, Sand Guverro, Roby Posuer, Zane Kellum, Logan Shults, Brandon Randolph, Cynthia Reyes, Tabitha Borgfield, Landon Stewart and Dillon Burson (not pictured).
