Wide receiver, Cade Campbell pulls in a 63 yard TD pass in the 4th quarter.
Lions Fall to Indians, PORT NECHES-GROVES, September 24, 2016 - The Lions went into Port Neches on Friday night and got off to a slow start while the PN-G Indians started off a little better. By the end of the first half the Indians went into the locker room with a 21 to 0 lead. The Lions woke up in the second half but couldn't keep pace with the Indians and ultimately lost 41 to 21. Due to time constraints this evening, I wont put the entire scoring summary, but early in the fourth quarter Christian Mitchell finally got the Lions on the scoreboard when he caught a 75 yard catch and run. Cade Campbell caught a 63 yard TD pass and Mitchell caught another TD pass (35 yarder). When all was said and done, it was Indians 41, Lions 21.
The Lions are learning. They're not completely gelled obviously, but I like what coach Broussard is doing with the Lion Offense. I think what gave the Lions the biggest fits is the Indians' relentless pass rush. Please enjoy the highlight reel and pictures below.
