LIONS ROAR PAST CANEY CREEK

9/11/09: On a date that is synonomous with disaster, we rembered the victims of 9/11/01.
WOW!...One week after losing a game that the Lions should've won, the Livingston Lions came roaring back this week and put on a football clinic walloping Caney Creek 63 - 20.  The Lions played well on both sides of the ball, but it was the spectacular ground game that propelled the Lions to victory.  The Dynamic Duo of Quentin Jackson and Ki Ki Johnshon provided a One, Two punch as they steamrolled a bewildered Caney Creek defense.  Clint Davis' full Lion report coming later.
Quentin Jackson rushed for over 170 yards and seemingly ripped off huge chunks of yardage at will.
Ki Ki Johnson powered his way to 110 yards on the ground.
Quarterback Blake Burman is getting better and his confidence is growing by leaps and bounds.
Cassity Land about to cross the goal line. Land scored two receiving touchdowns.
Cassity Land is a happy camper (coming off the field after 1 of his 2 touchdowns).
Caney Creek QB was sacked multiple times.
A formidable Lion pass rush was pressuring the visiting QB all night long.
The Lion defense was not only stingy, but also very disruptive.
The kicking game was perfect.
The Lions kept their own miscues to a minimum. Here the Lions recover their own fumble.
Quentin Jackson played like a man among boys. Here Jackson bulldozes through defenders for a touchdown.
By the end of the game, Caney Creek had been mistreated pretty bad.
After the game Head Coach Randy Rowe praised his troops.
