Expressions say it all: Unhappy Lions in the closing seconds of a loss.
Lions Fall to Bellville 28 - 13, LIVINGSTON, August 5, 2009 - The Livingston Lions Varsity Football Team lost to one of the top ranked teams in Texas in a score that is not indicative of how close the game was.  The Lions 2009 Lions struggled to find an identity in the first half.  Head Coach Randy Rowe said something to them in the locker room that had the team coming out and playing with more assertiveness in the second half.  Initially the Lions set the tone in the second half and scored an early touchdown that made the score 14 - 7, but Bellville was able to capitalize on some costly mistakes by the Lions.  The Lions mistakes proved to be too much to overcome.  Lion Color Commentator for Radio KETX, Clint Davis, has a full report coming.
Rumblin, bumblin, stumblin....Ki Ki Johnson proved to be a powerhouse running back...
...as did Quentin Jackson who picked up right where he left off in 2008.
Quarterback Blake Burman under pressure.
Wide Receiver Kenny Montgomery lines up.
Look for Dominique Rushing to light up the highlight reel all season long.
