Kim Warner Caught by Sheriff's Special Response Team, LIVINGSTON, October 26, 2008 - Fugitive Kim Darrell Warner, 52, who had been on the run from local law enforcement since October 24, 2008 and on the run from Harris County law enforcement since one week earlier was caught shortly after 1 am on October 26 by the highly trained Polk County Special Response Team. Law enforcement surrounded an abandoned house off of 350 North where Warner was staying. According to Polk County Chief Deputy Byron Lyons, Warner came out, gave up and was arrested without incident. Warner shot and critically wounded a man in the Jersey Village area and came up to Polk County and was allegedly working at Cox Manufacturing on Highway 146 near Livingston. Warner will be extradited to Harris County.
