Livingston Man Charged in Murder of Jasper Woman, JASPER, November 19, 2023 - Sometime during the 5 am hour on November 18, 2023, Jasper Police were dipatched to the Myrtis Village Apartments in the 200 block of Myrtis Street (just off US-190 East in Jasper). The Officers arrived at the apartment of Rosalin Lewis, 24, of Jasper to find her deceased. Lewis had been reportedly bludgeoned to death with a hammer. Lewis had allegedly been arguing with her boyfriend, William Christian Thomas, 23, of Livingston. Thomas has been arrested, charged with murder, and is currently in Jasper County Jail with a 1 million dollar bond.
