Jamie Richardson-Jones is seeking the office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 in Polk County, Texas. The daughter of John Keith and Arlene Richardson of the Soda community and the granddaughter of Mary Nettles and the late Alvis Nettles of Livingston, Texas, Jamie is a hometown girl, born and raised in Polk County. Jamie is married to Lt. Mark Jones of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and the mother of two boys, Cole and Trent. Jamie graduated from Livingston High School in 1996 and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in business from Sam Houston State University.
Jamie started her career in law enforcement at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in records management and communications. In 2005, she went to work for Sam Houston Electric Cooperative as a Billing Representative. She has established working relationships with members of the judicial community in Polk County and has always had hopes of one day seeking the office of Justice of the Peace. She understands the operations of the judicial system in Polk County and would like to apply that knowledge to help the judicial system move forward in the future.

If elected, I will treat this position with honor and integrity. People that know me say that I’m outspoken and strong-minded, but I stand up for what I believe in and I will stand up for the people of Precinct 4.
