UPDATE:  The Livingston Police Department has issued a press release regarding the terroristic threat to Camp Cho Yeh in Livingston.  The following is the press release:

Local law enforcement agencies work together to stop a potential threat to children and staff at Camp Cho-Yeh.

Late Sunday morning, LPD was made aware of an investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office concerning threats made towards Camp Cho-Yeh by an ex employee. PCSO investigators secured an arrest warrant for the male, who was identified as 23-year-old Mario Bernal., while units from both agencies began staging in the area surrounding Camp Cho-Yeh. Shortly after noon, an LPD officer spotted the suspect vehicle on S Washington near the camp entrance. Officers stopped the vehicle and took Bernal into custody without incident. He was then transported to the Polk County Jail.

Even though there is no current threat to the community, law enforcement will proactively patrol in and near Camp Cho-Yeh while the investigation continues.

“Threats to this community, especially involving our children, will always be taken seriously. I commend the quick and thorough investigation by the Sheriff’s Office, as well as the response by our officers.” ~Chief Parrish
