Goodrich Resident Turns 103, LIVINGSTON, February 18, 2011 - Livingston resident Goldie Edith Duke turned 103 years old on Thursday, February 17, 2011. Friends and family surrounded Duke in her honor as they celebrated with cake and punch. "Just live your life" is the advice she gave to young ladies. At 103, Duke is certainly qualified to give out that advice. Duke and her family moved to Goodrich in 1948 from Yellow Pine, Louisiana, and were only going to stay for one year (they've been here ever since). Duke has 3 boys and 1 girl, 12 grandkids, 24 great grandkids, and 12 great great grandkids.
