Stifled: Leon Middleton (with City of Livingston) was no match for a tough Go Getter Defense.
Business As Usual, Go Getters Beat City of Livingston, LIVINGSTON, February 17, 2015 - Marty Drake's Livingston Go Getters beat the City of Livingston last night (02/16) at the Livingston Jr. High School in a game that turned out to be close (67-65). Though the game was close, the score was not indicative of just how much better the Go Getters really are. Perhaps the Go Getters had an off night, but, like the true champions that they are, when it got down to the nitty gritty, the Go Getters served a little reminder of why they play basketball, and the City of Livingston employees, well, they work for the city. To the city players' credit, even though they were soundly wooped, in the end, they were good sports and handed out T-shirts to the Go Getters. To the victors goes the spoils, as usual, it was the Go Getters.
The Human Highlight Reel: Keith Hampton sinks a free throw. Hampton is a constant and dominant force when he's in the game.
Kristina "Tuttie" Ybarrbo helps work the ball down court.
Joe "Shut Em Down" Wright easily moves pass a defender enroute to a Go Getter bucket.
The Professor: Pam Coats takes her game seriously and always makes her opponents pay dearly for their mistakes.
Go Getter Head Coach, Marty Drake, shows some appreciation to Ronald "Father Time" Robinett.
As usual, one of the opponents loses their composure and was forced to leave the game by police. This interesting (but undesirable) phenomenon is common with opponents who play against the Go Getters.
