Go Getters Steam Roll City of Livingston Employees, LIVINGSTON, January 15, 2013 - Marty Drake's Livingston Go Getters destroyed the City of Livingston Employees in a basketball friendly played Monday night at the Livingston Junior High School. Despite the city employees' best efforts and hustle, the Go Getters easily trounced the city employees (they need some kind of nickname like maybe the City of Livingston Brick Layers?...Just a thought). By the end of the first half, the Go Getters had a 39 to 19 lead. By the end of the 3rd quarter, it was 64 to 24, and by the final buzzer, the humiliation and davastation of the brick layers was complete. Go Getters 80 - Brick Layers 29. It's a good thing Go Getter Head Coach Marty Drake called off the dogs otherwise it could've gotten really ugly. The Brick Layers fouled often, some flagrant, some technical, but the Go Getters (being great sports) politely stepped to the free throw line and hit their shots with deadly accuracy. The Go Getters made it look easy. After the game, the Go Getters players received their customary T-Shirts. The Go Getters set a great example of excellent athleticism and superb sportsmanship.
