Fire Totals Home, SODA, November 26, 2018 - At approximately 6:45 am on November 26, 2018, a house fire was reported by a neighbor. Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 386 Family Drive (just of Nettles Cemetery Road), to find the back side of a home in flames. The owner of the home, Debbie Hunter, 57, of Livingston had left for work earlier in the morning. A neighbor spotted the smoke coming from the house and notified the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The fire appeared to total the home. There were no reported injuries. Deputies Ronald Bogany and Kayla Hemperly were dispatched to initiate an investigation. A crew from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative was dispatched to the scene to deal with possible electrical problems. It is not yet known to PolkCountyToday.com whether or not Hunter had homeowner's insurance.

The fire originated at the east end of the house, back side.
Deputy Ronald Bogany with the Polk County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.
