Old Tractor Catches Fire at Peters Tractor, LIVINGSTON, October 29, 2018 - At approximately 6:20 pm on October 29, 2018, a tractor fire was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Peters Tractor on 190 West to find an older tractor being stored on their lot. The fire is preliminarily believed to have been caused by an electrical short. Firemen doused the fire. Deputy Austin McCracken with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to initiate an investigation into the cause of the fire. Nobody was injured in the incident.
