Fire at Timber Creek Elementary, LIVINGSTON, October 3, 2015 - Sometime around midnight on October 3, 2015, Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Livingston Police Department, and Americare Ambulance Service were dispatched to Timber Creek Elementary School in Livingston in reference to a fire. Firemen arrived and found fairly heavy smoke in the hall on the east side of the building. The fire appeared to coming from the vicinity of the nurse's office. The building appeared to suffer some smoke and water damage. The fire was successfully extinguished by Livingston Fire Department, however, the cause of the fire remains a mystery at this point. Firemen set up heavy duty fans to suck the smoke out of the building. While the fire has been extinguished, exactly what was burning has yet to be determined. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation and will be turned over to the Livingston Fire Marshal.
