Arson Suspected in House Fire, LIVINGSTON, September 21, 2009 - For the second time in 2 weeks, a house fire was reported late in the night at 308 Sherman in Livingston. The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department led by Chief Corky Cochran arrived to find the house fully involved. Two fire engines parked in front of the house as a hand full of volunteer firemen put out the blaze. Livingston Fire Marshal Mark Taylor was on hand and told PolkCountyToday.com that the house was already under investigation from the last fire that happened 2 weeks earlier. Also on hand was Livingston Police Officers Darrell Newman and Kevin Ward. Home owner Eric Wood stood nearby as he watched his uninsured rent house get totaled. Nobody was living in the house. Firemen had the fire extinguished by 3 am.
