Flatbed Truck Burns on 350 North, LIVINGSTON, September 2, 2008 - At approximately 5 am on September 2, 2008 a call came in to the Polk County Sheriff's Office to report a vehicle on fire on 350 North near Bold Springs Baptist Church. The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was summoned to put out the fire. When the fire department arrived, they found the truck, a white 1993 Ford 1 ton flat bed, engulfed in flames. The truck was reported as stolen and arson is not being ruled out. The truck is allegedly owned by BR2 LLP out of Livingston. Polk County Sheriff's Deputy Lee Rogers was dispatched to the scene to investigate. The truck was towed from the scene at approximately 6:30 am by Ken's Towing.
