Fire Totals Home, LIVINGSTON, July 4, 2010 - Shortly before 6 pm on July 4, 2010, passers by reported a house fire located at 5442 Old Israel Road.  The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene with 3 fire engines to find the home fully involved.  Americare Ambulance Service was also dispatched to the scene along with Livingston Fire Marshal, Mark Taylor, and Deputy David Ramsey with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Fortunately, nobody was injured in the fire.  The homeowners, Devin and Lindsey Reece were not home when the fire broke out, but arrived to find their home and contents completely destroyed.  The Reece's did have homeowner's insurance.  Firemen had the blaze fully extinguished before 7 pm.  The cause of the fire is under investigation by the City of Livingston Fire Marshal.
