Fire Totals House on Oakdale Loop, NEW WILLARD,June 21, 2008 - A fire totaled an unoccupied house on Oakdale Loop. The fire was reported shortly before 4:30 pm on June 21, 2008. The Livingston Volunteer Fire Department quickly responded to the call and had the fire under control within 15 minutes, but not before the home was completely destroyed by the fire. The firemen showed up with 3 fire engines and a host of volunteer firemen. Among many other firemen responding to the call were Livingston Fire Chief, Corky Cochran, and Alan Cook. According to witnesses at the scene, the house is owned by a Livingston man by the name of John Shepherd.
