Late Night Fire Burns Church on West Side of Livingston, LIVINGSTON, April 11, 2012 - Shortly after 1 am on April 11, 2012, a structure fire was reported to the Livingston Police Department. Firemen from the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department arrived to find the St. Luke Methodist Church (located at 115 West Street) fully involved. Firemen began dousing the flames, but the church fire spread so fast that the building was gutted. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No foul play suspected at this time.
The roof was completely in flames when firemen arrived at the St. Luke Methodist Church located on West Street in Livingston.
