Mobile Home Possibly Totaled by Fire, GOODRICH, April 8, 2014 - Shortly before 4 pm on April 1, 2014, a mobile home fire was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. Fire trucks from Goodrich and Livingston volunteer fire departments arrived to find smoke billowing from the roof at 286 Pennington Drive (off Windham Ranch Road). Firemen were able to douse the flames but the mobile home may be totaled from the fire, smoke and water damage. Deputy Rey Davalos with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to investigate. The mobile home was owned by Lindsey Duke of Goodrich who shared the abode with her younger brother, Jimmy Duke. Duke does have home owner's insurance on the mobile home.

The fire was more intense on the backside of the mobile home as the siding was melted off (Goodrich Fire Chief, Kenneith Hambick pictured at left).
