Homeowner Jeremy Reed of Livingston at the scene of his own mobile home fire.
Fire Totals Mobile Home, LIVINGSTON, March 23, 2012 - At approximately 1:40 pm on March 23, 2012, a structure was reported near Chris Brent Road (off FM-2457).  Firemen from Livingston and Scenic Loop VFDs arrived to find a single wide mobile home located at 134 Fraga Road (off Chris Brent Road) engulfed in flames.  Additionally, Deputy Craig Taylor with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to conduct a preliminary investigation.  Firemen immediately began putting out the fire but not before the mobile home was totaled (complete with caved in roof).  The home was owned by Jeremy Reed of Livingston and was not insured.  Reed or his son were allegedly not home when the fire broke out.  Nobody was hurt during the incident.  Deputy Taylor turned the case over to Polk County Fire Marshal, Jay Barbee (Barbee also arrived on the scene).
