Forest Fire Snuffed Out, SEVEN OAKS, March 22, 2016 - Shortly after 2 pm on March 22, 2016, a forest fire was reported from Seven Oaks. Volunteer firemen and trucks from Livingston and Corrigan were dispatched to US-59 (north-bound side) at Weatherford Road where an abandoned building had caught fire, as well as the woods surrounding the building. Additionally, State Troopers and the Texas Forest Service were dispatched. The fire also managed to spread across 59 to the south-bound side. The fire was quickly snuffed out on both sides.
