A garage/apartment was totaled by fire at Sundance and Pull Tight Lane.
Fire Totals Garage/Apartment, BLANCHARD, March 13, 2014 - Shortly before 7 am crews from Livingston, Scenic Loop, and Onalaska VFDs arrived 161 Sundance Road to find a 2 story garage/apartment on fire and fully involved.  The weight of the second story apartment caused the structure to collapse.  The structure was completely destroyed.  Additonally, there was a full size van parked in front of the garage that was also totaled by the fire.  The buliding was owned by Charles Horton whose house is next door to the garage/apartment.  Horton reportedly has homeowner's insurance.  Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to invetigate.  Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident, and the fire didn't spread to Horton's home.
