Vicinity Near Scenic Loop: 134 Goldfinch Drive, 8:35 am
Fire Totals Mobile Home, SCENIC LOOP, March 4, 2013 - At approximately 8:20 am on March 4, 2013, a residential fire was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Volunteer Firemen from Scenic Loop and Livingston responded to find a mobile home located at 134 Goldfinch (off FM-2457) fully involved.  Firemen were able to get the fire out quickly, but, typical of mobile homes, the fire had spread rapidly and the home was totaled.  Deputies Troy Binford and Corporal Terri Mayer were dispatched to investigate.  The home is owned by Sandra Caraway.  Witnesses stated to PolkCountyToday.com that Caraway had recently remodeled the interior of the mobile home.  Unfortunately, the mobile home was uninsured.  Nobody was injured in the incident.
