19 year old Hunter Morton (who already has health issues) threw his own caution to the wind to make sure his neighbors were safe.
Youngster Risks His Own Safety to Help Others...
I’m writing this to express how proud I am of my son Hunter Morton. He went out on the porch last night about 8:15 pm and noticed our neighbors garage was on fire. He ran and woke them then ran into the garage to make sure no one was in there and no animals. He jumped the fence between our house came and got me and my boyfriend saying the garage next door was on fire. My boyfriend grabbed the water hose and started spraying their garage and ours brings they were so close. It quickly started going up in flames and items inside were exploding. Hunter then ran into our garage full of smoke and make sure our animals were out and safe. Helped me move 3 vehicles so the fire trucks could use our driveways brings it was wider. He has health problems but that didn’t stop him. After the fire trucks got there he started having seizures from the strobe lights on the trucks. He had been seizure free for almost 3 years. But with the excitement and lights it was too much. EMT’s were called out and they finally made their way to us. At the hospital we found out one of the neighbors cats didn’t make it out. He was devastated. My son just turned 19 this past September he didn’t hesitate to run into a fire to make sure everyone was safe. He has heart, hypertension, and history of seizures in his past and none of that even mattered when it came to someone else’s life. For this I am very proud of him and the young man I raised! Anyways I just wanted to share with you.
