Fire Totals Shop off Pridgen Road, LIVINGSTON, January 9, 2015 - At approximately 6:45 pm on January 8, 2015, a structure fire was reported to the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  Firemen from Livingston Volunteer Fire Department arrived at 1103 Pridgen Road to find a shop/garage engulfed in flames.  The firemen quickly extinguished the fire, but the shop appeared totaled.  The shop is believed to be owned by Gerald Parker (whose residence is adjacent to his shop).  Deputy Victor White with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to investigate.  Parker reportedly didn't have insurance on the building.  Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
