Flame retardant foam casades from the interior of a house located off Clyde Clifton Road as Livingston Firemen douse flames from inside the house.
Home Burns, Owner Arrested for Warrant, LIVINGSTON, January 4, 2015 - Shortly after 5 pm on January 4, 2015, a house fire was reported to the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department.  Firemen arrived at 168 Clyde Clifton Road to find the interior of the home burning.  According to the homeowner (John Allen, 46, of Livingston), he had something cooking on the stove and fell asleep, when he awoke, his kitchen was on fire.  Additionally, Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched, and Deputy Joshua Sanders with the Polk County Sheriff's Office.  When Sanders arrived on the scene he spoke with John Allen and ran his driver's license.  Allen popped up as wanted and had a warrant for his arrest out of Polk County.  John Allen was placed under arrest and take to Polk County Jail.  The home is possibly totaled due fire, smoke, and water damage.  It is not known to PolkCountyToday.com whether or not if John Allen had homeowner's insurance.  Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident.
